It was called Art Selfie and all you had to do was take a photo with your cell phone and the application would search through all the museums and art galleries looking for the painting that best matches the image. Now, Google has decided to relaunch the application with a second part loaded with generative AI.

Like the first version, Art Selfie 2 is inspired by art to offer fun results but also they take advantage of it to teach art. The tool is already integrated into the Google Arts & Culture application and a few steps are enough to change our portraits forever.
Art Selfie 2 offers different styles linked to significant events in History, pictorial or cultural movements, all with a very specific style and setting. Once the selfie has been taken, the application allows you to choose the aspect to recreate so that Google’s AI can take care of generating the image from the captured selfie.

To use this tool to generate historical selfies, you need to perform the following process:
- Download the Google Arts & Culture app from the Google Play Store. Is free.
- Open the app and search Artistic selfie 2. It’s currently in the app header.
- Give him access to the camera so he can capture your images. You cannot upload photos from gallery to the tool, you need to do them right now .
