Alexander Käber posted on his Vimeo account an exciting idea of what the arrival of a universal content menu might look like on iPadOS 14: a new way to communicate with our iPad.
Right now it's just an idea
As the video shows, it can be the same menu we've been using since 1983 but it's made modern with IPOS. Divided into columns and regular actions, this menu it can sync with all the apps and conditions we may have on the screen
In the video we also see the integration with the new Smart Keyboard trackpad The iPad Pro even has a float mode that we can set the menu to keep the workspace clean. From Slide Over support to drag and drop platform, all possibilities are explored in this concept.
Right now it's a concept, though Do they work on it at other Apple Park labs? I wouldn't be surprised. Apple is known for testing even the worst ideas because conversion projects can be found in those ideas.
What if …? How many projects should begin with this question. While we let our imagination run smoothly with ideas like this, the WWDC, in its online format, is approaching at full speed. What surprises will we see on stage?
