The new MacBook Pro is said to arrive in May, with rumors that the MacBook with an ARM chip may arrive in June. But apparently Apple is redesigning its Mac desktop.
If you find the Mac 27 is too powerful, and the 21.5-inch model is too small, you'll be glad to know (thanks for the post) China Times) that Apple may be aiming to introduce a new 23-inch Macac in the second half of 2020.
This isn't a new mid-size size between the 27- and 21.5-inch models – Apple will make the iMac screen bigger by reducing the size of the on-screen panels, just as it did with the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro.
Although the screen is large, the total size of the in-one will remain nearly the same, only the usable screen area will increase. The China Times hasn't released anything about the larger 27-inch variant, but it seems reasonable that Apple will make the same change soon – the screen can grow to 28.5 inches or 30 inches by entry.
Apple last updated its iMac in the spring of 2019, and the current deal went into effect in 2012, when Apple blocked the Optical drive on its desktop. The iMac had a wide screen at 21.5 and 27 inches since the end of 2009, before being somewhat squared off with 20- and 24-inch options.
We've been thinking of various ways that Apple could change the design of the iMac by 2020 in this article, so feel free to check it out if you want to know all about what's new 2020 Apple iMac.
