Motorola was one of the first manufacturers to bet on foldable phones, with this Moto Razr 2019 which not only revived one of the most legendary lines of Motorola phones, the Razr, but it was also a foldable which, even if it was not perfect, it gave us a glimpse of what the future would be for a category that was barely born at the time: foldable smartphones.
Now it’s the turn of a new generation of Moto Razr. The company has already confirmed when we will meet the new Moto Razr of 2024, which will most likely be known under the Moto Razr 50 family name.
The Moto Razr 50 arrives June 25
It’s been a year since we met the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and the Moto Razr 40. The first model was the top of the range of Motorola foldables, including a giant screen outside which also allowed all applications to be used directly on the external panel. The Razr 40, on the other hand, relied on a much smaller external display and more limited hardware than its older sibling, but it was also a considerably more accessible mobile phone.
Now it is the turn of the new Moto Razr that the company has prepared for 2024. Motorola announced in a publication on X (Twitter) and in a video on YouTube that next June 25 will be the day in which it will present them. “Flip the Script”, or “give a twist to the script”, seems to be the motto of these new phones.

The confirmation of the date was initially published by the Motorola United States profiles, but since the Motorola profile for Europe on X (Twitter) also shared the date, we can estimate that, like last years, We will see the new Moto Razr arrive in the country in the future.
Concerning its specifications, always no details are known about its technical characteristics and the changes that we will see between the Razr 40 and the new generation of foldables, it is not even confirmed to date that two Razr models will arrive, just like last year. The video only tells us that they could arrive in multiple colors, a strategy that Motorola is implementing across its portfolio (as is the case with the colorful Moto Edge 50 family).
