If you own one of these Samsung Galaxy phones, you’re in luck. Samsung released the update in Europe to the latest version of its operating system, One UI 6.1.1, for all of its most premium devices in 2024. If you own one of the phones in the Galaxy S24 family, you can now update.
This version of One UI includes new artificial intelligence functions for all Galaxy S24 users, including the ability to create portraits with original styles thanks to Samsung’s AI and to bring our sketches to life, transforming our scribbles into impressive images, among other new features.
One UI 6.1.1 is coming to the Galaxy S24, here’s what’s changing
One UI 6.1.1 initially arrived alongside the South Korean company’s latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, but the company recently announced that its other compatible devices will start receiving the update soon. Starting today, This update is available in Europe for the following devices:
These are just the first phones to receive it, in the near future we can expect the update to reach more Samsung Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Z Flip5 among others.
As we explained at the beginning of these lines, The biggest new features in One UI 6.1.1 are related to artificial intelligence. This version includes features that allow you to transform sketches into detailed and artistic images, create portraits with different effects and styles, add call translation to more apps (such as WhatsApp), translate and summarize PDF files, and many other features. The update also adds new security measures against hackers.
You can update your Samsung Galaxy S24 to the latest version of One UI by following these steps:
- Go to the mobile settings menu
- Access the option Software Update
- Click on Download and Install
The mobile will download the latest software version available and install it. One UI 6.1.1 is about 3GB, so we recommend updating it when connected to a WiFi network.
