the new QRs greatly facilitate identification

facilitate, greatly, identification, QRs

The Administration has several applications from which we can carry out procedures, but without a doubt, one of the ones that works best is Cl@ve PIN. Oh okay, Cl@ve to drybecause a few days ago, he changed his name.

Of course, not only has the app been renamed and redesigned to make it more user-friendly for all types of users, but it also has a feature that makes the identification process much easier now. It is QR code reader, and it’s a great idea.

Cl@ve now reads QRs and is easier to use

The mobile has become a very useful tool to carry out almost all types of procedures in the administration. Not only can we perform the processes on the phone itself through the browser or specific apps, but it’s a security key.

If there is something that we must protect, it is undoubtedly the bank account, our main email and, above all, our tax and personal data. For this reason, it is advisable to have security methods or two-factor authentication, which the administration has been demanding for some time.

No ID or driver's license, your mobile is enough to vote in the elections: here's how you can configure it

In the case of Cl@ve, we have a very simple operation: when we are going to perform an operation and identify ourselves with the DNI, a unique three-character PIN code for this session is sent to the application. It makes paperwork a lot easier from your mobile, but when we’re on a computer, there’s a way to make the process a little easier.

Until now, if we were managing on a desktop computer, we had to authenticate, wait to receive the PIN code and enter this PIN code in the required field. Now it’s even easier because you hardly have to do anything manually.

With the new QR reading process at Cl@ve, when you access an administration portal, you must select the option ‘Access with Cl@ve Móvil via QR code’. As soon as you click, a five-minute countdown, PIN, and QR code appear.

The next step is to access the mobile app and select “Scan QR code”.. Automatically, the camera starts, we point to the QR that we want to read and, as soon as the reading is done (it’s quite fast), a pop-up screen appears which asks us to confirm, another to enter the fingerprint or mobile PIN and a window indicating that authentication was successful.

It is very simple, you don’t need to enter the pin code because the whole process is automatic and it may be more accessible for certain types of users. Yes, it’s not a revolution, but these options are appreciated.

Oh! Something I have to say is that of the many times I’ve used it these days, there are times when the camera does not focus. I don’t know if it’s a bug or if it just happened to me, but if it happens to you, close the app completely and restart it. Doing this solved the two times this happened to me.
