Given recent issues with health-related sensors and lawsuits filed by medical companies, Those from Cupertino are carrying out arduous research work to see what other sensors they can integrate into the Apple Watch, especially those that have nothing to do with said controversial topic. This is difficult given that the Apple Watch was designed as a health-promoting device .

When you run or do any outdoor strength activity, air speed may be a factor in calculating the power delivered during such an exercise. The patent focuses on the latter, in addition to including valuable information on weather forecasts, user and outdoor temperature measurement and other functions.

The second patent focuses on environmental sensors that could be added to other different devices. Also in the first patent Apple specifies that its proposal can be applied to any device

. Those in Cupertino are wondering how to add so many environmental sensors into a device that doesn’t have much space. The patent illustrates attaching a layer or strand of metal to the Apple Watch case. The advantage is that the sensor types work similarly and would depend entirely on the heating and cooling of that metal.

The element would be the conductive wire which will receive the temperature variations. Remember that it would be more feasible if the Apple Watch bands themselves could serve as a receiver material for the measurements they want to make, this was also part of a patent known many years ago.
