The reason is that since Samsung Electromechanical (a subsidiary of the group specializing in the development of electronic components) claims to have created the first solid-state battery of extremely small dimensions. This new battery could arrive in future versions of the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring much sooner than expected.
Production of these batteries could begin in 2026
