Apple has announced its next presentation event for the next iPad and it will take place on May 7 at 7:00 a.m. (Pacific Time), or 4:00 p.m. (Spanish Peninsula Time).
Under the motto “Let Loose”, the invitation to the event leaves little doubt on this occasion as to what will be the focus: iPads. A very colorful Apple logo and a hand holding an Apple Pencil are quite illustrative and on this occasion there is no need to do any type of strange symbology analysis, which on the other hand rarely gets things right. At the event, Apple is expected to show us the new iPad Pro and iPad Air, as well as a new Apple Pencil model and a Magic Keyboard with significant design and material changes. The iPad Pro is expected to arrive in the same two sizes, but with slightly larger screens due to fewer bezels., with OLED technology, M3 processors and the FaceTime camera in a horizontal position. There was also talk of MagSafe charging, even if the latter is not at all clear. The iPad Air will also arrive with two screen sizes with a new 12.9-inch model that could have a miniLED display, like the current iPad Pro, as well as M2 processors.
It is also expected a new Magic Keyboard, which would leave the current design for an aluminum model with a larger trackpad, making the iPad Pro look almost identical to the MacBook. And finally a new Apple Pencil, which could add a new “pressure” gesture for certain actions, and which could be compatible with the Vision Pro.
