We live the last straight line towards the presentation of the iPhone 14, one of the most anticipated models of recent years, due to the comings and goings they have had – among other things – the rumors about their design and the expectations regarding their cameras. In fact, during this last month of August (and as usual), we have seen how much innovation we will see in new products in the days to come accelerate.
Undoubtedly, the star of the presentation will be the iPhone 14, but that hasn’t stopped rumors of a new HomePod from returning. And not a mini HomePod – that too – but a “big” HomePod as such, which must answer many questions about the direction it will take: will it be a complement
Not even the end of the summer did they wait for the new rumors of the Apple Glasses, if we can call them that: the warm Last month, a record of the names the new Apple device could take on was detected – and they all refer to “Reality”. Are there really that many uses for a augmented reality device how do we think? Will the virtual reality headset, which has been talked about for years, come out first?
The doubts we want to solve in the opening speech
I also comment with Javier, in this first podcast of the new season, on something that doesn’t quite add up: if a new Apple Watch Pro appears, will it have enough changes to compete with the large sports watches? Because that means we not only have to improve the design, but also make changes to the operating system to get the most out of sensor data.
The iPhone 14 continues to bring us surprises even before its presentation, of which we already know its new colors. Be careful with this because what we currently know about the new Apple phone are just physical details that the software can fill in with details we didn’t expect. Like the notch shape of the iPhone 14 in the form of a pill, when we all thought it would be a dot and a line.
The AirPods Pro 2 also appear in the conversation, with possible changes in improved sound suppression and embedding lossless music in the wireless format. The climax ? The last preparations for the trip to Cupertino to relive the keynote in person at the Steve Jobs Theater – something we haven’t done since before the pandemic.
