When Samsung introduced its first mobile folding many were surprised that it was launched in 2019, for two reasons. On the other hand, the technology had been around for a few years, but couldn't believe it was ready to continue being sold. On the other hand, the price was too high, and demand was noted.
In fact, as you know, the Golden Fold was delayed for half a year, but was eventually put up for sale.
The Toyota introduced its first roll-out phone a few weeks ago, and since the Fold was delayed and the Mate X was not yet available for sale, many thought that perhaps Motorola would also have to accelerate its model. And so be it.
Motorola Razr is delayed
When Motorola launched Razr it said it could be purchased before the end of the year, directly on December 26, at least in the United States, arriving from January 9. It will also go on sale in Europe, but by 2020 it's already in place.
However, the company has announced that it will temporarily delay its launch due to high demand. The Toyota did not expect such a good reception, especially with a cellphone that costs $ 1500.
Since its announcement in November, the new Motorola Razr has created an unprecedented feeling and interest in consumers. Demand is high and, as a result, quickly surpassed sales forecasts.
Motorola has decided to change Razr's sales and marketing timeline to better meet consumer demand. We are working to find the right price and schedule to ensure more consumers receive Razr when it is launched. We do not expect a major change in our timeline.
We will have to wait a few weeks for Motorola to specify a launch date in the United States but if demand is too high it would be unusual for us to see significant delays, so that we can deliver American units.
