The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 saw the light in July and, as is the case with the series, does so with a version with a Wi-Fi connection and one with an LTE connection. However, a third is yet to come, at least in South Korea, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G.
After appearing two months ago on both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Alliance certificates, it's now up to that point probably the first tablet with a 5G connection
It's probably the first 5G tablet
After the SM-T866N model went through several certifications in October, it was assumed that a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 with 5G connection to join a larger portfolio of 5G branded devices. So far the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and Samsung Galaxy A90 5G are among the exclusive club members.
Note that all Samsung 5G devices so far are working, but will soon be paired with a tablet. In addition, so far they have no news of any other manufacturer planning to launch a tablet with a 5G connection, so may be the first 5G tablet
This, if you drop it soon, seems to be the case. The tablet is mentioned on the promotion page for customers who bought the Galaxy Tab S6 between December 20, 2019 and March 31, 2020. In addition, the model already has a support page in South Korea, usually step before launch
The official photos of the Samsung-shared model are the same as the other Galaxy Tab S6, so it seems changes will be internal only. The Galaxy Tab S6 is introduced with the Snapdragon 855, though it does not have the same 5G modem. This will be the end of the difference, though it remains to be seen if the modem installation includes some changes, for example, to the battery rating.
