Everything went well when you did the income statement for this year, but there is something that bothers you: it went out to come back and the tax authorities have not yet refunded your money. And yes, it’s odd, because four out of five people eligible to do so have already received this refund according to the agency’s own data.
It doesn’t have to be that reason, but it seems that these deductions may be due to debts with social security or unpaid fines. We are therefore going to teach you how to take steps to resolve this situation and finally collect what the State owes you.
Before invoicing, you must pay what is due
The key is to check whether you have a debt with the Treasury or a fine awaiting payment. The first thing you need to do is access this Tax Agency website, which you can do from the same iPhone. Click on the second option, which allows you generate a certificate confirming that you are up to date with all your debts with tax:
Click on “Request a report” on the next screen and get ready: you will need to identify yourself using the digital certificate you have on your iPhone or with the Cl@ve PIN code. Alternatively, you can also do this by SMS:
The web will load your personal data. Activate the ‘Debt detail’ option if you suspect that you have one or more debts with the State, in order to see in detail where the problem comes from. When you have done so, you can click on the ‘Continue’ button:
At this point, the certificate will be generated with the possibility that you can print it. Even if you don’t want to print it, look for that option, because that’s where you’ll have the option to download the certificate in PDF format.
From there, it depends on whether or not you locate a type of debt and take the appropriate steps to settle it. Until you do, you will not be refunded the income statement amount returned to you. If you have any questions, remember that you have the telephone numbers 915 53 68 01 or 901 200 350 to contact the tax authorities.
