On May 30, 2017, the first product of a new project by Andy Rubin, an Android developer, entered the market. What was important opened the doors Some time before and the Special Call was legal, though its arrival would have been very difficult for kickstarter users who supported its financial support.
Such an important call became a reality and showed that better service levels could be achieved in the Android ecosystem through faster updates, faster technical service and higher satisfaction of its users. Finally Priority decided to shut down the company
Most Importantly, GEM Project and Newton Mail
As Essential himself said in his farewell statement, from the company Project GEM had been launched a few months earlier, a long-distance call such as remote control was reliable and promised new experience in handling mobiles devices At least, the idea was revolutionary.
This GEM Project is now going nowhere, or important phone updates have been sold so far. As the company reports, calls will continue to operate regularly though the update posted on February 3 last will be the last
Despite our best efforts, we have taken the Gem as far as possible and unfortunately we have no clear path to deliver it to customers. Given this, we made the difficult decision to suspend the operation and close the Priority. […] A big thank you to our staff in Palo Alto and Washington, as well as our global partners for their help and dedication to make this concept come alive. The CloudMagic team joined us last year and in addition to providing Newton Mail, a widely-used cross-platform email program, has supported Gem development.
As Important Reports, your Newton Mail mail application also has a death date. It will be April 30th in the same year 2020. From that day on, the service will stop working, though Priority will leave a copy of the Newton mail code available on github for developers who want to move forward with the project.
Very important RIP Thank you for everything.
