He packaging Apple products have always stood out for their quality. Adam Lashinsky said in his book “Inside Apple” that the boxes are the letter of introduction, the first contact and, therefore, exhaustive attention must be paid to the first moments when we will develop our “relationship” with the product.
But beyond its design rules, the truth is that Apple cases are sturdy, light and stand out for having been designed to make the most of space. “Fantastic storage and organization pieces“, they say on the blog Organizing Moms. A simple and cheap solution that more people than we imagined use to save almost everything.
A second life for iPhone cases
To group the socks, organize the stationery, have all the headphones well protected, classify the sachets of different teas and infusions or even store different make-up products.
It seems that the pure white of the boxes of all Apple products goes particularly well with most gray, brown or white desks. From her blog, designer Myrachael took dozens of boxes of Apple products and for days painted, glued and left them ready to completely organize her desk. Here is the result before and after:
Larger boxes, for MacBooks, iPads and more, can make great filing cabinets. Smaller ones, such as those on the iPhone, pen deposits and adhesive labels or candy boxes. Another example:

And by joining some boxes with others, we have as result a practical folder to classify stationery to the smallest objects — and easier to lose — DIY items, such as washers, nuts and bolts, bolts and fuses. In addition, they will remain protected from humidity.
These are not the only examples. For example, author Irene Seto turns her boxes into trinkets, a sewing kit (there’s an alternative to cookie tins!) or a storage system for her everyday beauty products. The limit, as they say, is in our imagination.
