WhatsApp includes several different text formats with which we can write and send messages in a different way in chats. These formats are available in all versions of the app, from iPhone to Android to WhatsApp Web, so if you send a message this way, the other person will also receive it the same way.
All WhatsApp text formats
In WhatsApp we have many different ways to write text thanks to the different formats. to the classics bold, italic or strikethrough we also have lists, quotes and code. You must therefore write in WhatsApp for these formats to appear.
Bulleted list
With this new text format, it is possible to create to-do lists, shopping lists, project lists and list all kinds of items. The format is used with characters
either (-). To add a bulleted list to your message, place an asterisk or hyphen and a space before each word or phrase:

Very similar to the lists above, to add a numbered list to your message, simply place a number, period, and space before each line of text:

Quotations are particularly useful for quoting specific sentences from a text, highlighting sayings, expressions and dialogue. To use this WhatsApp text format, simply add the character (>) to the start of your text:
Aligned code
An essential tool for developers, software engineers and IT professionals who want to share lines of code and other commands. It is used by adding the character (`) between the desired text. To add aligned code to your message, place a grave accent on either side of the message:
Italics
To enter text in italics, place an underscore (_) before and after the text:
Bold
To type bold text, place an asterisk
before and after the text:
Rod
To enter strikethrough text, place a tilde (~) before and after the text:
