The Emojipedia publishes the 118 new emoji which will be approved in Unicode 15.1 before the end of the year.
The Unicode Consortium responsible for approving new emoji has just launched its new emoji proposal for Unicode version 15.1 and we have over 100 new emojis ready to reach every smartphone in the world, as published by the Emojipedia. This is a small revision of Unicode 15 and all new emoji coming in 2022.
In all There are 118 new emoji candidates in Emoji 15.1, 108 of which focus on providing directionality options to existing emojis. So we have 10 completely new emojis and 108 emojis that are already available but that we can use in a different way.
Complete list of new emojis of 2023
As we mentioned before, out of more than 100 emojis, only 10 are completely new, the rest are changes in direction of existing emojis. Here is the full list of new emojis.
The bone 10 new emojis proposed They are:
- Head moving horizontally
- head moving vertically
- pajaro phoenix
- Lima
- Seta brown
- broken chain
- Family: Adult, adult and child
- Family: Adult, child and child
- Family: adult and child
- Family: Adult, adult, child and child
In addition to these 10 emojis, we have 108 emojis that will also be available in another direction. All the emojis of the people who move it do it to the left and we will also have the possibility of putting them by moving it to the right:

It is likely that this new batch of emojis will arrive with one of the latest versions of iOS 16 or perhaps it will be included for the first time in iOS 17. Its approval is expected in September and, from from then on, any company will be able to add them to their keyboards.
