One of the most recurring rumors last year was the redesign of the Apple Watch Series 7. As we know, this redesign never happened, despite the fact that several rumors put it on the table. Now some renders are picking it up for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 and the truth is they are much more interesting
A more stylish Apple Watch Series 8
Jon Prosser was one of the first ensuring that the Apple Watch Series 7 has a flat-edge redesign. Now a named artist Shailesh Hariharan created new renders of the Apple Watch Series 8 with a much more subtle flat edge. And the truth is that the result is quite attractive.
Hariharan envisions the new watch as a screen with a tighter curvature which blends into the aluminum chassis. The screen is also much closer to the body of the Apple Watch, which allows for better integration between the two elements.
The passage of time works in favor of these renderings, since the artist was able to add the larger screen and with smaller frames. Use for this one of the spheres supplied with Series 7
For the rest of the chassis, it is unclear whether the artist will consider the rumors that lengthened the slits on the left side. But what we can say is that it is one of the renders we like the most till date. Hopefully we’ll see something similar in September.
