There are still months until the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 goes from a set of rumors to reality, but you can already take a look at how the design of the Korean firm’s next folding aims to be very detailed according to leaks from OnLeaks, one of the big names in the rumor mills due to its accuracy and the amount of information it offers.
One of the most heard rumors about the next generation of Samsung foldables is the effort that the Asian brand is making to reduce the presence (and therefore the impact) of the crease on the screen. Well, this line can be seen in the fairly softened renders.
According to the leaks, the thickness of the next Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has been reduced to 13.4 millimeters when folded, a significant difference from the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which moves between 14.2mm and 15.8mm due to the gap between the hinges. Additionally, Samsung is expected to use a “drop” type hinge similar to the Flexion hinge of the OPPO Find N2.
Wrapping up everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, it will theoretically retain the same 6.2-inch exterior screen from the previous generation and a 7.6-inch interior screen. However, we can see that the glasses have been reduced. As for the dimensions, they should be 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3 mm unfolded and 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.5 mm folded.
As for camera moduleaims to integrate three sensors with an LED, which in the next generation will be located on the side and will stand out from the design of the outer chassis.
