Running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro was achieved thanks to Tiny11, a lightweight and optimized version of the operating system!
Is there a reason to have Windows on an iPhone? Some believe so. From the science and technology experiment site NTDEV, they revealed what happens when Windows 11 can now run on an iPhone 15 Pro. Although several changes promoted by Apple have opened the doors to greater freedom in running non-native applications and operating systems on iOS devices, so far Windows has not been the best demonstration of this.
Running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro is still in its early stages and has some performance issues. On behalf of NTDEV They summarized it in: “It’s TERRIBLY slow, takes about 20 minutes to boot, but it’s still Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro!”
This is probably the very first instance of Windows 11 (in the form of tiny11 kernel) on UTM SE.

Running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro is possible
According to NTDEV experts, Running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro was achieved using Tiny11, a stripped-down and optimized version of the Windows 11 operating system. This was necessary for the operating system to function properly with the limited resources of a mobile device. However, running Windows 11 on an iPhone 15 Pro is not without its limitations.
Operating system performance may be slow in some cases, and support for all Windows 11 features is not yet guaranteed. But it’s still a significant step forward in mobile emulation and opens up a world of possibilities.
Apple and Emulators
In response to the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, Apple was forced to make changes to its App Store policywhich finally brought emulators to iPhone and iPad. This decision came to fruition with the release of iOS 17.4.
Since then, emulators are legal and official. Most of them imitate games from Super Nintendo, Game Boy and other retro video game consoles and, despite Apple, PC games.
