Apple reminds its customers that they can participate in one of its environmental initiatives!
Apple has maintained its commitment to the environment as one of the flags of its brand and applies it in different strategies. Regarding the Earth Dayon April 22, the company started the celebration by adding a banner to its website that reminds customers that they can recycle their Apple devices “for free.”
As explained on the company’s official website, the recycling process can be started on Apple’s redemption page in many countries by filling out a form. Depending on the product’s terms, customers can exchange it and get a credit toward their next purchase and, if not eligible, recycle it for free.

The list of products that can be recycled includes iPhone models, cables, cases, accessories and other similar electronic devices.. Customers who join this initiative “will help protect Earth’s precious resources and reduce waste as we work toward a better future for the planet,” Apple says.
In addition to this invitation to your customers, Apple today shared a new “Recycling Robots” video on its UK YouTube channel which indicates that Apple’s recycling robots can now recover recyclable materials from a total of 23 different iPhone models.
This video features Apple’s recycling robot team. While the custom recycling robot Daisy is one of the most well-known, thanks to its ability to take apart 23 different iPhone models to recover crucial materials like gold and rare earths, there’s much more.
The robot Dave extracts tungsten from Taptic Engines, while the robot Taz takes care of the audio modules. According to the video, together they are leading the way in recovering recycled materials for the next generation of products.
