The last few days have been full of new data and images on each of the Pixel 9 that will be presented in the second week of August at “Made by Google”. A key event for the interests of the tech giant, not only for its devices, but also for artificial intelligence that will enhance the experience of their mobile phones with functions such as “Call Notes”.
If the hardware functions are to be noticeable, as will happen with the selfies that some of the Pixel 9 will take, in the software they will attract powerful attention, because AI will be the main protagonist
This happens with a new system based on artificial intelligence that can record, transcribe and summarize calls audio recordings made with the mobile phone. Dylan Rouseel from his account on X (formerly Twitter) hinted that Google is working on a new AI-based feature.
Loving Add Me? Wait until you hear more about AI Call Notes (with call recording and transcription), redesigned Panorama mode, and more Pixel features coming soon ππ

The leak highlights the recording and transcription of Call Notes with the possibility that artificial intelligence will take care of making a synthesis if the user wishes. And this is not something new in the Pixel experience, since Google’s Recorder App Now Transcribes
This new feature will take the calling experience to another level: when you hang up, you will be able to have the recording, transcribed text and summary to save to your mobile for later use. A feature that not everyone will use, but having it as an option is a great alternative.
It will work in such a way that it will be available in the Google calling app and, for the whole privacy issue, I would use Gemini Nano to record, transcribe and summarize directly from the mobile locally. This experience will also reach Apple phones with iOS 18, so there is a kind of open fight to offer this type of functionality on the latest phones launched in the Spanish market. The languages ββthat will be available on the Pixel 9 are unknown.
On the other hand, Google wants to please users who were disenchanted with the Pixel 8 when they found that the feature Photosphere it has been deleted. IT will rethink Panorama mode to fill that gap, although it remains to be seen whether it will actually be a notable experience, according to Android Police.
