This is the foldable “special edition” coming soon

Samsung has an ace up its sleeve to end 2024 in style. The company’s commitment to foldable phones has been overshadowed by groundbreaking launches such as the groundbreaking Huawei Mate XT or the beautiful Honor Magic V3. Next to it, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is good, but not the leader.

It would not simply be a version with a new color, as is usually the case with “special versions”, but in reality it would be a new model designed from scratch.

Until now, everything we knew about this mobile came from leaks from South Korea, which spoke of a thinner and more luxurious mobile; but without images confirming the changes. Today, regular leaker Evan Blass took to his Twitter account to post images of a “mystery” device, which will likely be the new special edition.

The images seem to confirm the leaks, notably the one which shows the side of the mobile; Although it is difficult to see, it is appreciated that It’s thinner than the classic Galaxy Z Fold 6

with a copper-colored finish that will give it a more “premium” touch, in addition to the rounded edges in the corners. Without seeing a complete image of the mobile, it’s difficult to know more, but everything indicates that Samsung will live up to the benchmarks in terms of thickness.

The other image confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will retain Samsung’s design lines, with a very familiar triple-sensor camera array. There’s less to talk about here, although that ‘premium’ styling with copper detailing on the camera island is still noticeable.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition should open a new era for Samsung, which will initiate big changes in its range. After several years of evolving launches, the company will achieve design milestones with thinner and more advanced mobile phones.

Unfortunately, in Europe we may not be able to witness this revolution. Rumors indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will launch only in South Korea and China; In fact, the launch would take place very soon, with a possible presentation for this week and a release for the end of October.
