In recent months, various companies have launched streaming services to compete with Netflix or HBO, such as Amazon, Apple and more recently by Disney via Disney +.
Check out Disney + on Android: this is a Disney streaming service
We've tested Disney + the American streaming service on Android and this is our understanding of it.
Google has not directly competed with these companies unless they have rented and sold Google Play Movies. The attempt to create original content on YouTube did not go well.
Trends in the Play Movie code
It was through the APK code of the app where XDA found the lines showing some of the app issues.
As you can see, these lines indicate that there will be new functionality within the app. Specifically, users are allowed to watch hundreds of movies at no charge.
To monetize this activity, Google will place ads on movies, though we don't know what will be before, after or between reprints. This is something that is already happening on YouTube, so it's no wonder the company is working on it.
All Google Play Movies free?
There is little doubt that this move will affect the entire Google Play Movies catalog, something that will be a very important move, or if there will be other titles available. However, another sentence in this code refers to the fact that there will be hundreds of topics, something that could mean a movement more similar to the first option we propose than the second.
Because now we don't know much, when to launch, or where to find the countries. It may be that even though this service was to be launched soon, it was postponed due to a current crisis, due to the decline in online advertising revenue.
