This is the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: first images

Last year, Samsung surprised many with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, a device that was part of the Galaxy S family but priced below its older siblings.

It was one of the company’s cell phones that we most recommend buying in Europe, although admittedly it was not without problems.

We have now been able to know that the Korean firm is working on its successor, thanks to the leaks of Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as OnLeaks.

The Galaxy S21 FE camera module is inspired by the S21, but it’s not the same

The images published by Hemmerstoffer are, as always in his case, computer-generated recreations. This allows us to have a clear idea of ​​what the design will look like, although there may be variations in aspects such as the size of the screen bezels, the diameter of the front camera, etc.

In the designs we see how the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE maintains the line of the already announced models of this family and adopts the new camera module, although in this case it does not fit into the frame, but naturally protrudes from the side. of the rear area.

We’re assuming the back will be plastic since in both the S20 FE and the S21 and S21 Plus it’s made of this material, as opposed to the glass on the S21 Ultra.

It will be bigger than S21

The dimensions will be 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm, with camera module thickness increased to 9.3mm. It’s bigger than the S21 but not as big as the S21 Plus. While there is still no official data on its performance, the screen is expected to be around 6.4 inches diagonal.

It is not known when it will be officially presented although the S20 FE having been launched in February 2020 it is possible that we will soon see the S21 FE confirmed by Samsung.
