One of the enemies of any mobile, no matter how much storage space it has, is the cache. It is a pool of data coming from the applications that we use and little by little they become more and more numerous, to the point of accumulating several gigabytes in some cases.
And it’s annoying because the cache keeps getting bigger and if you want to delete it, you have to go application by application. However, is there a method to keep the cache remote and do a general cleaning of the phone. The answer is one of the best applications you can download on your mobile: SD Maid.

There are tricks here and there to save storage space on mobile, but I already said cache is one of those invisible “eaters” of our phone. It is something that will always be there because they are temporary files that each application creates to be able to access them more quickly in case they are needed again.
It is something necessary for the applications to work in a more agile way, but it also serves to save data or even battery. However, many times temporary data is created from something that is only reused once or on a regular basis. Therefore, it is good to clear the cache from time to time.

- Open the GitHub link and scroll down until you see a section called “Assets”.
- Click and three options appear. One is the source code of the application and the other is the APK file. It weighs around 5.69 MB.
- Download it, click on the fact that you want to install it and follow the instructions to grant access permissions to the application. Ready.
Do it, it’s time to dive into what the app offers, but what is most interesting to free up space is the ‘Application Cleaner’ section. This is something you can manually clean up, but you can also automate the process.
In the ‘Schedule’, select ‘Edit schedule’ to create a new automatic cleaning period. Once done, enter a name, select the periodicity and click ‘Save’.
The new schedule will appear just below the default schedule (which you can’t enable because it tells you it would be nice if you became a sponsor), but in the custom schedule you can select the ‘Schedule is disabled’ button to change it to ‘Schedule is enabled’.
And ready, this way you won’t have to worry about caching anymore. Of course, you can still do it manually from time to time, since putting a cleanse every three days is a bit silly, but good.
