The first of these, for me the most comfortable, goes through Siri. But it is not only compatible with HomeKit, but also with Alexa and with Google Assistant. We therefore have three different methods to activate its operation with voice commands.
Another of the most practical methods is to use the Home app. It is super simple and its configuration is very fast. Once you have paired the lamp with HomeKit, you will only have to press on its panel to turn the light on or off. From there you can also increase or decrease its intensity or change its color.
Additionally, you can add home automation panels from the Home app. to the Home screen, Lock screen, and Control Center. Even in shortcuts!
On the other hand, meross provides its customers with an official application to control the operation of their devices. Although personally I still prefer to group all my home automation accessories in the Apple Home application.
Finally, another way to control this smart lamp is to a touch sensor integrated into its upper part. If you touch the panel for more than 5 seconds, you can choose the desired light color. It is very useful and comfortable for the nightstand.
