As Reuters revealed in recent hours, Google has announced to its partners in Turkey that it will not be able to work with them, preventing them from installing any Google application or service, including the Google Play Store. Google will stop installing its mobile apps for sale in Turkey
Last September 2018, Google was granted permissi on to pay 93 million dollars (14.25 euros) to Turkey. This fine is due to a violation of the laws of the country in connection with the sale of mobile software, taking advantage of a severe situation. The decision was when the Turkish government gave Google 6 months to respond.
It's been over a year since then, too Google has officially confirmed that they will stop providing their mobile services in the country, under the following statement:
«We have informed our partners that we will not be able to work with them on new Android phones introduced in the Turkish market. Consumers will be able to continue to purchase existing mobiles and will be able to continue to use their devices and apps more generally. Other Google services will continue to work fine ».
