Apple announced on September 7 the whole new range of iPhone 14. Two days ago the reservation of the terminals began and with it the final prices that the devices were going to have in each country were revealed. The war in Ukraine and the economic crisis we are going through clearly showed that there was going to be a general rise in prices. In reality, the most expensive iPhone 14 is in Turkey, surpassing Brazil, the country that has always had the most expensive Apple devices. We explain why and the price of each device below.

The most expensive iPhone 14s are bought in Turkey

Every September we have a new range of iPhones that replaces the previous year. In normal situations the price of the new range of iPhone does not vary significantly. However, the economic crisis and the general rise in inflation have caused Apple to change the prices of its devices to adapt to production costs and profits.

Nukeni is a media responsible for monitoring the price of devices around the world to see what price difference there is between them. The prices of the devices vary according to the economic situation of a country, the value of its currency and, above all, the local or national taxes that apply there.

Brazil has always topped the list of the most expensive iPhones on the market. However, for iPhone 14 things have changed and it is Turkey which sells the most expensive iPhone 14. Here are their prices in their different models:

  • iPhone 14 128 GB: $1,674.50
  • iPhone 14 256 GB: $1,814.95
  • iPhone 14 512 GB: $2,101.25
  • iPhone 14 Plus 128 GB: $1,890.58
  • iPhone 14 Plus 256 GB: $2,031.02
  • iPhone 14 Plus 512 GB: $2,317.32
  • iPhone 14 Pro 128 GB: $2,160.67

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 GB: $2,803.48
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max 1 TB: $3,089.78

As you can see, the prices are high compared to the prices that can be found in Europe or in other countries of the European Union. However, this price increase is explained by the situation that Turkey has experienced in recent years. Let us remember that the collapse of its economy meant that in 2021 Apple has suspended sales of its products in the country due to the loss of 15% in the value of the Turkish Lira. The reopening of the market has led to higher prices not only for devices, but also for apps and App Store subscriptions.
