Twitter developed a new official app for Mac computers with macOS Catalina via Project Catalyst. Catalyst lets you easily deploy iPad apps to macOS because there is a universal development code. However, one of the main complaints is that It turned out to be very basic, looks like a kind of web app.
The social network has been publishing app updates to improve and resolve bugs, as one of the most recent has posed a problem with an automated chronological update. Now, a new version is also available in the App Store for that Mac Add support for Touch Bar.
Some basic functions, though they are a start
Touch Bar is a special feature of the MacBook Pro. It's a touch device that restores the physical keys on top of the keyboard and It changes its functions depending on the app on the screen.
Twitter version 8.5 for macOS uses Touch Bar support. However, its functionality is a bit off base, since it only provides an option for write a titter and change the chronology between the most recent and prominent publications. At some stages there is an opportunity to open your preferences, write direct messages and watch lists, but leave a lot of space in the middle.
Without the support of the Touch Bar, the user may have clicked the video sequence jump to that specific point of attachment. The update, as we mentioned, is now available in the store for free.
