With the update to the 2.20.50 version of WhatsApp, the release of Facebook for all users video call with up to 8 participants, we put together. Since we discovered a few weeks ago in the beta version of the app, the app doubled the volume of group discussions.
For the same program, double the number of participants
The functionality of the video call system remains the same, we simply touch the button in the form of a camera in a group chat, which will appear in conversations of up to eight people, including us. As we saw last week, to be able to call up to eight people is a must have the latest version of the app.
Although eight people seem to have a more appropriate margin than 4, it should be borne in mind that if we need to name as many participants we have alternatives like FaceTime, Zoom or Skype, among many others. Other methods that provide functions such as virtual domains, screen sharing, etc.
While there FaceTime allows up to 32 video calls, nailed directly from end to end with high quality, it's amazing that Facebook decides to limit only 8 people. Although one thing is clear, it is appreciated that Facebook is increasing the communication restrictions of its advanced messaging app, especially after imposing some restrictions on the use of the app.
