Almost a year and a half ago we knew the Vivo V21 5G, an exceptional mid-range terminal to which the Vivo V21s seem to succeed now. This has already been released in Taiwan, but assuming little change.
In fact, if we compare the specifications of this new device with the Vivo V21 5G one, we can see that there are practically no changes. At least on paper, although that doesn’t mean it can’t end up being a good terminal.

Its version of Android is the main novelty (and it’s not ’13’)
Everything we saw aesthetically in the Vivo V21 is also in this ‘s’ version. A device available in two colors with reflections, made with plastic materials and a weight of 176 or 177 grams (depending on the color chosen) which is a priori its strong point in terms of design, since it seems very light.
In the front part we find a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel. Here too, it seems to be the same as the previous version, also offering FullHD+ resolution and an 90Hz refresh rate.
Also mediatek echo processor with the Dimensity 800U, a chip introduced two years ago with the ability to offer 5G connectivity in mid-range terminals like this Vivo V21s. Added to this is a configuration of 8 GB RAM which is accompanied by a single ROM that provides 128 GB of internal storage
In the drums we meet 4000mAh capacity. It would have to be tested thoroughly because its predecessor offered good data, but in 2022 it already seems a bit rare compared to the 5,000 mAh average that is becoming standard in the industry. And even more to have a fast charge of 33 W, which is good, but it is not a panacea either.
We observe the same continuity in the cameras, being the 44-megapixel selfie camera the highlighted item. It’s on paper below that of options like the 50-megapixel Vivo X80 Lite, but if it’s the same as the Vivo V21, it will leave a really good taste in your mouth. At the back is where it incorporates a triple camera of 64, 8 and 2 megapixels
The only relevant novelty This is in that it has Funtouch 12, a version of the Vivo layer based on Android 12. However, this is not a surprise either, since the Vivo V21 has already updated to this version and confirmed the updating to Funtouch 13 (based on Android 13) by 2023, a destination this version “s” probably has too.
Vivo Y21s versions and prices
In view of the few novelties of this terminal, it will probably remain as an exclusive version of Taiwan. In this country, it was launched in light blue and dark blue color, both of which have different shades depending on how the light hits them. Only one configuration is offered. 8+128 GB and the price is 11,490 new Taiwan dollars, which would be equivalent in dollars to 355.74 dollars.
