The official release of watchOS 9.4 could be available at the end of March!
The next watchOS update will benefit users of older versions of the Apple Watch. According to a support document shared by Apple, upon the official release of watchOS 9.4, currently in beta, it will be possible to recalibrate the battery capacity on the 44mm Apple Watch Series 6.
The process, previously available for Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5, is for estimate the maximum battery capacity more accurately. Unfortunately, it will not be available for the 40mm version of the Apple Watch Series 6.

Once available, owners of Apple Watch Series 6, one of the most popular versions of the device, who noticed that their battery life suddenly fluctuated should be able to better understand the lifespan of their device.
To check for the update that should happen automatically with the installation of watchOS 9.4, users can check the battery status of their Apple Watch opening the app Setting on the portable device, by selecting Battery and open the tab Battery status.
In addition to this feature, the official version of watchOS 9.4 should offer Changes to the Messages app with a new range of emojis Conforming to Unicode Standard 15, these include pink heart, blue heart, jellyfish, etc. As well as some updates for the Home app and more.
The latest in watchOS
Apple smartwatches are currently updated with watchOS 9.3, which offers new training features and other improvements implemented in popular crash detection. On the other hand, the updated software version for Apple Watch includes bug fixes and stability improvements.
Additionally, Apple has added a new tribute face to the recently announced Black History Month along with custom Apple Watch bands.
For download watchOS 9.3 on your Apple Watch, access the Clock app from your iPhone or from Settings > General > Software Update. To install this build, your Apple Watch will need at least 50% battery or plugged in.
Meanwhile, watchOS 9.4 beta 1 is available for download by registered developers. But its final launch is estimated for the last days of March.
