rare color on watchOS 9.5

Last week, Apple released the final versions available to all users of the most recent operating systems of its various terminals. As for the Apple Watch, we have watchOS 9.5 and although it didn’t bring too many new things, it leaves the watch ready for the reception of version 10 which is supposed to be launched at the beginning of June at WWDC. Some users have noticed that this update left a weird color on the watch.

We already know that when a version of an operating system is made public, it is preceded by a few months of beta testing. This is when new features are included and functions that don’t add up or don’t work are eliminated. When the final version is published, it is assumed that everything is under control. But that’s just a guess, because as we’ll see now, not everything is controlled.

In watchOS 9.5, some users complained that this update left a tint, a strange color on their Apple Watch screen. Specifically, this has been in the Reddit forums where users mention a greyish/greenish color very annoying on the watch once it was updated to this latest version. This hue becomes more apparent when accessing the Watch Control Center. That is, when we scroll the screen from bottom to top. It’s not something that affects a single model, as the 8, 7 and SE series have been mentioned.

For now no official comments but if it continues to increase in terms of affected users, we assume that Apple will release an urgent update soon before WWDC.
