More and more brands are getting into the home appliance business. is one of them, and today we are analyzing one of its flagship products, the Levant M1a smart vacuum capable of dodging objects.
design and buttons
This vacuum cleaner has the same design as other similar ones, with a round shape from which protrudes another cylinder in which the mapping laser is located.
It is striking that there are no less than three physical buttons, one to start cleaning, another to send the vacuum cleaner to the charging base and the last to perform a double pass in the area where it is. is at that time.
Also, it is strange to find a power button on the vacuum cleaner, like the one we have on radiators and heaters with a cable, for example. If we don’t press it, it won’t start charging on the base, even if we place it correctly.
In the lower part we see that the suction area moves, saving small steps such as those caused by carpets.
In addition to the necessary accessories, it includes two additional brushes and an additional HEPA filter, perfect when we have been using the standard brushes for a few months and want to change them. It also includes six disposable mops and one reusable that we can wash.
laser mapping
It measur es 9.4 cm, which is important if you have to go under furniture. In my case, it ran smoothly, although it got stuck several times in a spot where other vacuums tend to have problems as well.
It has several sensors, among which a fall sensor stands out, to prevent it from falling down the stairs if our house has them.
By mapping the house and returning to the charging base, it allows us to zone, saying which rooms there are to be able to clean one in particular, or several, but not the whole floor.
The best thing about its navigation is that, unlike other vacuums, it doesn’t bump into everything to rectify later, but it identifies that there is an object and most of the time it doesn’t bump into anything. . I say this because on some occasions, with the leg of a chair, it came to touch, but this has nothing to do with the other vacuum cleaners that I have analyzed.
The app is very complete
The first thing that caught my attention about this product was that neither the app nor the voices on the device were available in Spanish. It seems a little minor to me, which lives with Spanish and English, but it is a point against, since many rivals have this language.
It has the ability to save up to three maps, which is perfect if we have several floors or want to move it from our house on vacation.
In addition to using the app to control the vacuum cleaner or the physical buttons, we can link the app to Alexa and Google Home, which allows us to give voice commands comfortably.
