Being able to present the COVID Certificate in an easy way has become more important than ever. Fortunately, the Ministry of Health has extended the download options of this COVID passport so that we can add it directly to the Wallet app on our iPhone and Apple Watch. A big step forward in terms of comfort.

The COVID Certificate more within reach than ever

We have already seen several ways to manage the COVID certificate to make it easier to have it shown when required. Most of the means are needed to access third-party applications or transform the QR code ourselves to be able to add it to our iPhone wallet. Now, however, we can receive the COVID passport in this format directly from official bodies and without intermediaries.

Form

Applying for this COVID certificate is as simple as going to the website of the Ministry of Health, entering through the Cl @ ve system or with an identity certificate, filling out the form, marking “I request to receive the certificate also in Wallet or Passbook format”

, enter the phone number where we want to download the COVID certificate, sign the operation with Cl @ ve and wait for the passport to be sent to us. The wait may take a few minutes, but eventually the message gets through.

When we receive the SMS with a link to the certificate, we simply enter our username and when viewing the pass we will have the option To add

. With this we will see how It is saved in the Wallet application of our iPhone and it also appears in the same app on our Apple Watch.

COVID certificate on iPhone: comparison to understand which system is the most secure and comfortable to obtain and manage our certificate

It is clear that being able to simplify the management of this COVID passport is important. Thanks to this system, we can even send our certificate to another family member, ideal to be able to display all the certificates of the same phone if we are together, for example. A passport which we hope will lose its usefulness as soon as possible, but which we can comfortably manage in the meantime.
