There is a lot of news coming with iOS and iPadOS 14.5. As much and as important as the transparency of app tracking, which allows us to prevent apps from tracking us for advertising purposes via third parties, or scribbling in Spanish, that some news may go unnoticed. In this we are perhaps talking about the possibility to print reminders lists, let’s see how to do it.
Reminders of our lists also on paper
There may be various circumstances where we want to print a list from the Reminders app. Depending on the contents of the list, it may sometimes be convenient for us to have a hard copy for viewing in certain environments or we just want to save it as PDF to share it with other people, publish it or archive it and keep it safe. With iOS and iPadOS 14.5 we can do just that, we’ll do it like this:
- We open the app Reminders on our iPhone or iPad.
- We enter the list we want to print.
- We touch the button in the form of three dots in the upper right part.
- We choose To print.
Well here we can choose two options: print a hard copy or generate a PDF from the printout. If we want to print a copy, we just need to select a printer, adjust the number of copies, decide if we want color or black and white and press the button To print. If, on the other hand, we want to generate a PDF, which we could also print later, we must make the gesture of separating two fingers in the preview that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Extension of this overview, exactly as we would to see a bigger picture, we will see that the PDF file is presented to us. Here we can decide to save it or send it by pressing the share button (square with an up arrow).
Easy no? A very simple system, but one that can be very useful on several occasions. The truth is that Apple is adding several details in the various minor updates. What is also true is that many of them end up going unnoticed among all the new features presented. Fortunately, here in Applesfera we are in shock at this news and tell them in detail. We actually have a list of them, in Reminders, although we haven’t printed it yet.
