It is clear that by now we are all familiar with the dark mode of the iPhone or the iPad. What we know a little less is that the system, in this mode, offers us some exceptions for the content with lots of text to read. Examples are emails from Mail on your Mac, books from Apple Books, or notes from the Notes app. It is precisely the latter that we will be discussing today.
Dark mode yes, but I prefer to read this note on a white background
First of all, it is We need to activate dark mode on our device
- We open the app Settings on our iPhone or iPad.
- We entered Display and brightness.
- We choose Dark up.
Once we have activated the dark mode on our iPhone or iPad, we will see that all the notes in the Notes app show a black background. This is where the question of use a light background which gives us two options. On the one hand we can configure the system so that all the notes already created or that we will create in the future use the white background, on the other hand we can only designate a few notes that we want to use the white background. In the first case, the steps are as follows:
- We open the app Settings on our iPhone or iPad.
- We entered Remarks.
- We played on Note the backgrounds.
- We choose between Dark O Sure.
If, on the contrary, what we want is that one or more specific notes use the light background While the rest of the notes still use the dark mode background by default, the steps are as follows:
- We open the app Remarks on our iPhone or iPad.
- We enter the note whose background we want to change.
- We touch the button in the form of three dots in a circle.
- We choose Use a light background.
We have to repeat the process for all the notes we want to edit. Of course, once our preference is chosen, it will stay until we manually change it again. We can turn on the dark mode, automate the change or use the light mode as much as we want: the next time we visit this note with the dark mode, it will continue to have the background of the bank.
As the saying goes, taste the colors. In the field of reading and the ease of visualization of the written text, it is clear that being able to choose between one type of background or another is a welcome detail. Another of the many details we love about iOS and iPadOS.
