One of the benefits of Samsung’s alliance with Microsoft is that it allows users to link their cell phones to their Windows computer to access notifications, applications, images and videos stored there.
This is an option that runs from Windows Link and Mobile Link, which is the name of the desktop and mobile application they are controlled with.
At the moment it is exclusive to Samsung mobiles due to the agreement between the Korean company and Microsoft, although it seems that in the not too distant future it will reach mobiles from other manufacturers.
Connect your Samsung mobile
The first thing you will have to do is link your computer to your smartphone, for which you will have to visit a web address provided by the application from your PC where a QR code will appear, which you will have to scan using this PC connection option. Follow these steps:
- Open Settings.
- Access advanced features.
- Click Connect to Windows.
- Tap Pair phone and computer.
- Scan the QR code.
One of its most interesting functions is that of being able to consult the notifications that they arrive on your mobile from the computer itself, which means that you can leave it “parked” on the table without any problem while you work with your computer.
