When is Pokémon's day celebrated?
Nintendo celebrates Pokémon Day every year February 27th since that is the day when the first Pokémon video games were introduced in Japan in 1996. As a reminder, they celebrate a special day when all Pokémon players and fans are invited to enjoy all kinds of surprises.
Celebrating special events of Pokémon day will take place from February 25, 2020 to March 2, 2020.
In addition, Nintendo plans to release the Pokémon movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution on Netflix on the same day on February 27. So, Mewtwo Battleship will make its appearance on Pokémon GO, in line with the movie Pokémon Clones.
What are the surprises at this special Pokémon Day event?

Pokémon party outfits: Pikachu and Eevee will wear team hats when seen in the wild. Bulbasaur, Charmander and squirtle will have a great look and you will likely find them again in Shiny mode.

Mewtwo giant: Mewtwo Battleship will return to Pokémon GO in a five-star attack, as well as its special Charged Attack Psystrike attack.

Pokémon Clone: Other Pokémon Clones will arrive to join the party, including Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, which will appear in this four-star attack. Adding that you can catch Clone Pikachu.
