Not only does Spotify have its Spotify Wrapped, but YouTube Music also has a way to remember our favorite music throughout the year, which were those artists, albums and songs that accompanied us the most over the twelve recent months, and YouTube recap for 2024 is now available.
If you use YouTube Music, you can now access the annual summary of your music, and thus you will also be able to create a playlistor “playlist”, which will include the songs you listened to the most in 2024. A way to remember and pay tribute to what this last year has been like in your life, or at least in your musical life.
YouTube Recap 2024: so you can see your favorite songs and artists of the year
YouTube Music has become a more than interesting alternative among music streaming services, thanks to the fact that it has a huge catalog of music, including not only official artist releases but also unofficial videos, remixes and much more. In other words, the main appeal of YouTube Music is that includes music sometimes not found on any other platform.
The platform, accessible with a YouTube Premium subscription, already offers the possibility of accessing our YouTube Recap 2024, a summary of what we listened to the most over the last year: songs, artists, musical genres… And what's more, we can create a playlist based on this summarywhich will include songs that were clearly our favorites over the past twelve months.
If you use YouTube Music, the same application will invite you in the coming days to watch your YouTube Recap 2024. However, if the notice has not yet appeared, or if you have ignored it, don't worry, You can access YouTube Music's annual summary by following these steps:
- Go to YouTube Music and tap your photo or avatar (in the upper right corner)
- Then click on 'You summarize' on this screen
- Finally, click on 'Watch your recap'
The app will show you all the Recap information in a presentation, as if it were Instagram stories, including the albums you listened to the most and your favorite songs, as well as details such as the moods of your most listened to songs.
At the end of the presentation, the application will offer you the possibility of creating a playlist with your most listened to songs of the year, and adding it to your music library on YouTube Music. In my case, this list includes a total of 15 songswhich has undoubtedly accompanied me in recent months, and which will continue to do so for many years to come.
