What are floating notifications
Floating notifications, also known as dropzone in English, are a feature available in EMUI, Huawei's layer and Honor personalization. This function can be seen as a notification manager, which gives you the possibility of reducing or blocking the occurrence of bubble alerts in apps.
Nearly most of those with Huawei or Honor phones know, when you use apps like Facebook Messenger, they are often excluded bubble alerts. By clicking on it, you enter that conversation directly and you can see the message immediately. This function in EMUI allows us to restrict or control the use of these phone terminals.
Floating alerts can be used by many applications, they do not need to be restricted to messaging applications. You may use them for launchers or other types of applications. It is a function that has been present in a man-made layer for some time, but which does not fully utilize its fine tuning will allow us to better handle these bubble notifications on the phone.
How to use the phone
Unlike other notification management functions, floating notifications are not in the phone settings. You have access to them using the Optimizer program, available on Huawei and Honor phones. - Install or delete apps by pressing the switch.
