On March 24, Apple re-launched the MacOS Catalina, in version 10.15.4. However, the bug in this update causes Macs to crack, especially when transferring files of 30 GB or more.
Apple is known to be working to fix this bug with the following release, macOS 10.15.5. In fact, this one already exists in beta, which means developers are already able to test whether the error is actually corrected or not.
This also means that it shouldn't take long for the general public to arrive, but even if not, you may want to know what you need to do to prevent the Recipient from slowing down or even hanging out while copying heavy files.

From OWC they have tried to reproduce this problem by copying 300 GB of data from one SoftRAID RAID volume to another. They also made it burglary using the AppleRAID volume, indicating that it's not just a SoftRAID problem.
What to do if Mac is hanged when transferring files to Catalina
