WhatsApp redesigns its call interface for iOS users

Mark Zuckerberg’s company seems to be betting harder than usual on WhatsApp, While in the past we asked for minimal novelty in the old messaging app, for now updates are happening all the time with features that at least don’t make it worse for everyone ( it is enough to finally eliminate hate stories).

In this case, WhatsApp has renewed the Call UI for some iOS users who are already experiencing it.

This renovation brings a more comfortable design suitable for the screen of our devices, because it is also a very important section, isn’t it?

As of yesterday, some users, including myself, can already take advantage of the new user interface of WhatsApp calls. When calling, the image of the user we want to connect will appear, in the same way that at the bottom we find a series of shortcuts that we can drag later.

If we don’t slide it, it shows us the control of + the call, a mute button, the video call button and the typical button to activate the speaker if we want to.

On the other hand, if we slide up, it will make a small summary of the participants in the call and we will be allowed to add other participants. By pressing we will obtain access to the agenda and this is how the possibility of making the classic multiple call opens. A simplified and detailed user interface that will be well received by all users. In addition, once we have received the call, we can also add other participants with direct access in the upper right corner, or come back to WhatsApp to continue chatting while we call, by clicking on the top left corner.
