Are you also receiving an error while sending a video file via WhatsApp? This is a fairly general problem, we were able to verify it. And there is a simple solution to fix it: we’ll explain it to you.
You participated in one of your discussions and decided to attach a file. You searched through your gallery until you found the video you wanted, attached it to the chat, and after the conversion process, WhatsApp gave you an error warning that It cannot be sent and you must attach another file. This is currently happening to a large number of Android users, including us.
“This video cannot be sent. Choose another one and try again.”
The issue affects the latest versions of WhatsApp, both beta and stable. It extends to users from all countries and affects randomly. The problem is that whatever your turn, You will not be able to attach any videos to conversations: this will always give you an error.
The conversion process gives errors: when connecting the video, WhatsApp cannot complete processing to adapt the size and bitrate of the file to the requirements of WhatsApp servers. This causes shipping to stop making it impossible to fix this type of multimedia content. And this only affects sending, not receiving videos.
Is there any way to fix it? Well, the truth is that yes, although you must first pay attention to making a backup copy of your WhatsApp: you need to delete all data to fix the app problem. This is done as follows:
- Make sure to back up your chats and all content.
- Once the backup is complete, go to your Android settings and enter the “Apps” section.
- Go to the list, search for WhatsApp and navigate to its menu.
- Go to “Storage”.
- Click “Clear Storage”. Don’t forget to make the backup.
- Open WhatsApp and log in again.
- Restore the backup and you will have fixed the failure to send videos.
Until WhatsApp updates the app, there is no other solution than to delete the app storage and start again. If you saved the backup, you won’t lose anything along the way: it will only take a few minutes of your time.
