By activating this function, WhatsApp will reset all unread message counters every time we enter the application, automatically. In other words, this notification of 300 or more messages accumulated in certain conversations will disappear every time we enter the application, whether we open the individual or group chat to read them.

It’s possible enable or disable this function, depending on whether you want to use it or not. It is a tool that can be very useful for managing our notifications on WhatsApp, especially for users who make intensive use of the platform, both for personal use, commercial use and others.
By having this function active, the number of messages accumulated in each chat It will restart every time we enter WhatsApp, but it will still be possible to identify which are the most recent messages in the application.
