In a few weeks we will have invitations to the iPhone 14 event, there are fewer and fewer.
We are in August and that means that in just a few weeks we will have the presentation event of the iPhone 14, because Apple is used to unveil their new iPhone throughout the month of September. And before the event, Apple must send out the invitations and officially announce it. When will this happen? It will be in the next few weeks.
The ace invitations and the official announcement of an Apple event arrive several days in advance, especially if Apple decides to invite the press. Something that will likely happen this year although it is a registered event, Apple has already invited the press to WWDC22.
So, the normal thing is that Apple announces its event between 10 and 15 days before it happensthe iPhone 14 keynote could therefore be official very soon.

When is the iPhone event usually announced
Apple often stays true to its traditions and iPhone events always take place in mid-Septemberso the official announcement usually comes early this month.
Of the last 10 events, Apple sent invitations Monday 1 time, Tuesday 4 times and Thursday 5 times. The latter being the preferred day for face-to-face events. Thursdays were Apple’s chosen day to announce the iPhone event in 5 of the last 6 in-person eventswith an advance of between 11 and 13 days on the date of the event.
Taking into account, moreover, that the presentation events of the iPhone take place on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, and that they generally take place during the first half of September, we have 4 possible dates for the iPhone 14 keynote:
- tuesday september 6
- Wednesday, September 7
- tuesday september 13
- Wednesday September 14

Normally Apple doesn’t send invitations to the iPhone event during the month of August, so we think it’s quite likely that the iPhone 14 will be presented during this second week, that’s i.e. the September 13 or 14.
Which means that Apple should confirm this date to us on Thursday of the first week of September. It’s the Thursday, September 1 we should see the invitations.
However, all of this is mere speculation based on the events of previous years, everything can change and be early or late. What seems clear is that this year invites should arrive at least 10 days apart.
