Having the highest level of security on our mobile phones is essential. These store increasingly sensitive data, such as banking information or personal photos. For this reason, companies put a lot of effort into creating your devices are as secure as possiblesomething that would be impossible without a constant rhythm of updates.
Without harming the work of any of them, it is clear that Samsung is one of the most efficient. The company has made a new security patch available to some of its users, even before other Android devices. This patch, corresponding to the month of November, brings a good number of security fixes. Below we will tell you what it is. and on which devices it will arrive.
A security patch now available for some Galaxy
This update, which released a device other than the Galaxy S24, is fully detailed on Samsung’s security page. As per usual, the patch divides its fixes into two groups: those which are present on all devices with the Android operating system and those which are exclusive to the Korean firm’s devices.
In this case, 38 vulnerabilities were detected for Android devices, although fortunately on this occasion none are considered “critical”. On the other hand, the November security patch fixes 13 security vulnerabilities linked to Samsung and its deviceswith another already known that affects some of the company’s Exynos chips.
Samsung devices will receive it
The deployment of Samsung security patches is done in waves. We already have it available in Europe for the Galaxy S24, so we have to hope that little by little it will reach more devices. Then we leave you the list of devices that will receive this new update.
