Fresh ‘n Rebel is one of the most popular accessory brands in recent times. Among its products stands out the duo wireless charging base, which we have been testing for several weeks. It’s time to share our experience with this wireless charger.
A very comfortable wireless charging base
The Fresh ‘n Rebel Base Duo already follows in the usual wake of multiple wireless charging stations. This accessory is designed to charge up to two compatible devices with Qi wireless charging. So we can place any iPhone from iPhone 8 or iPhone X, as well as AirPods with the appropriate shell (Apple Watch is left out).
Just place one of these devices on the base, at one of its ends. Charging will begin immediately, although you have to find the right place to start. It is easier to locate it with AirPods than with an iPhone.
The base itself is slightly larger than an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Of course, something thicker and lighter. It can therefore be stored comfortably in a backpack or a suitcase for a trip.
In addition to the base itself, we have a cable with USB-C connection at both ends. And an 18W power adapter to connect to the wall. The latter is the usual size in these adapters, which appear large.
The key is in the upholstery material and the colors
If there’s one thing this Fresh ‘n Rebel foundation excels at, it’s its cushiony surface. The upper part is lined with a woven fabric mesh-shaped, with padding inside. And around the perimeter we have a thin line of rubber.
All of this is designed to give you more convenience when placing and removing iPhone and other accessories. At the same time that they remain fixed in place, ensure a good charge
As for the rest of the features, the Base Duo can be chosen in six colors: gray, pink, dark blue, dark red, black and green. The colors are quite striking, especially the mint green, which reminds us of the one that Apple used recently in the iMac 2021 and other equipment.
