To improve our privacy on WhatsApp, the messaging client has opted for temporary messages that disappear after a certain time, but now they will go further thanks to a future function.
It’s been leaked that WhatsApp will let you send messages that can only be read once, following the self-destructing photo and video steps, but we don’t have to wait for WhatsApp to launch this future functionality to be able to send messages that can only be read oncesince the application hides a trick to do so.
So you can send texts that can only be read once
And the trick is to use the photos feature that can only be viewed oncesince the tool allows us add texts to our images. Therefore, if we want to send a message that our contact can only read once, we can follow the following steps.
In the chat, click the camera icon to send a photo. Here we can choose from our gallery an image of a flat color that we have uploaded as a background for our text, or, the fastest option, cover the rear camera of our mobile with our arm or on the table for taking a black or very dark photo.
The next step is to click on the text tool which appears at the top right of the image editor. there we can change text color by dragging your finger in the color palette and change text font clicking on the top button of the T.
Once our text is written (it is recommended to write it on several lines so that the font does not reduce a lot) we only have to click on the ‘1’ icon that appears to the right of the “Add a comment…” field so that our image with the written text can only be seen once.
Photos that can only be viewed once also allow add a commentwith normal text, so this message would also only be seen once next to the photo, but user can copy text with long presswhile the other option, the user will not be able to save the image with the text or take a screenshot.
